If you’re looking to maximize your budget and score a bigger haul for your money during October’s Amazon Prime Day sale, you’ll be happy to know that there are many great deals you can find on tech and other gear for well under $100. Some of the inexpensive gadgets we like under that threshold are discounted even further, while others normally in the triple digits have snuck into double-digit territory, some for the first time.

Right now, for example, you can find great prices on Amazon’s newest Fire TV Cube, Philips Hue RGB smart bulbs, and Anker’s MagGo 3-in-1 charging stand. These Prime Day deals are only guaranteed to stick around for one more day, though, as the sale is only scheduled to run through the end of today, October 9th. We’ll be updating this piece with new deals as they come and go, so be sure to check back for all the Verge-approved highlights.

Best speaker and smart display deals under $100

  • Amazon is selling the fifth-gen Echo Dot for $22.99 ($27 off), which matches its all-time low. Like the Echo Pop, the Alexa-enabled smart speaker doubles as a Wi-Fi extender for Eero mesh networks. It also features advanced sensors to detect temperature and motion. Read our review.
  • The latest Echo Show 5 is also available at Amazon with a TP-Link Tapo Smart Color Bulb for $49.99, down from $114.98. While the Echo Show 8 has better cameras for video calls, the 5.5-inch Show 5 is still a great option if you need an Alexa-enabled smart display to play music, get weather reports, set alarms, and perform other -enabled tasks.
  • The fourth-gen Echo is available for $49.99 ($50 off) at Amazon. It’s a little older now, but the smart speaker still sounds better than any of Amazon’s entry-level speakers thanks to its more robust drivers. Plus, unlike the Pop and the latest Echo Dot, the standard Echo can double as a smart home hub with Zigbee support. Read our review.

Best headphone and earbud deals under $100

  • If you don’t need noise cancellation, Amazon’s latest Echo Buds are also down to an all-time low of $24.99 (half off) at Amazon. Amazon’s third-gen pair of wireless earbuds have a semi-open that allows sound through, making it easy to pay attention to your surroundings. They also support multipoint pairing and integrate well with Amazon Alexa for hands-free voice control.
  • If you’re looking for decent sound from a pair of over-ear headphones, Sony’s WH-CH520 are an easy recommendation now that they’re going for $38 ($42 off) at Amazon. They offer 50 hours of battery life, hands-free Google Assistant and Siri, and the ability to customize their EQ in Sony’s Headphones Connect app.
  • The JLab GoAir Pop are nigh legendary at this point for being a pair of dirt-cheap wireless earbuds that actually sound decent. They’re even cheaper right now, with many pairs starting at $17.42 (about $8 off) at Amazon. These can work nicely as a stocking stuffer or as an emergency backup if you happen to lose your daily drivers.
  • The Shokz OpenMove are down to just $54.95 ($25 off) for Prime members at Amazon, which matches their lowest price to date. (Walmart and Target have them for the same price, too). The bone conduction headphones deliver sound by sending vibrations through your cheekbones, letting you listen to music or podcasts without blocking out surrounding noise. They’re also ideal for those prone to ear fatigue or infections, as you won’t have to stick anything in your canals to enjoy private listening sessions.

Best smart home deals under $100

  • You can pick up an Amazon Smart Plug for just $12.99 ($12 off) at Amazon, which matches the lowest price we’ve seen. The basic plug gives you Alexa-enabled control over traditional gadgets — including lamps, coffee makers, and other indoor electronics — allowing you to schedule or control them with your voice or phone using the Alexa app.
  • The Eve Energy Smart Plug is down to $28.95 ($11 off) at Amazon. The Matter-ready smart plug allows you to remotely control power for anything that’s plugged into it using your preferred smart home platform. It works with Google Home, Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. Read our smart plug buying guide.
  • A four-pack of Kasa Smart Plugs (model HS103P4) is down to just $19.99 ($10 off) at Amazon. They lack Matter integration — and you miss out on Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings support — but you still get hub-free control using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also pick up a four-pack of Kasa’s Smart Wi-Fi Plug Slims (model EP25P4), which are smaller and add Apple Home support, for $29.99 ($20 off) at Amazon.
  • Amazon’s older Eero 6 Plus mesh router is also on sale for $99.99 ($40 off) at Amazon, which is $10 shy of its best price to date. The dual-band gigabit system covers up to 1,500 square feet and supports over 75 connected devices, but unlike the faster Eero Pro 6E, it only supports Wi-Fi 6. It’s also available in a two-pack for $159.99 ($80 off) or a three-pack for $194.99 ($105 off).
  • A three-pack of Philips Hue 60W RGB smart bulbs is down to $79.99 ($55 off) at Amazon. That’s still pricey compared to competing products, but it’s near the lowest price we’ve seen for this particular set. Since these use Bluetooth, you can control them via voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. However, if you can put the savings toward a Hue Bridge ($60), you can control more lights and unlock even more functionality, including the ability to set up automated routines and sync the lights to your entertainment playback.
  • Our top budget video doorbell pick — the Blink Video Doorbell — is available at Amazon with a Sync Module 2 for $39.99 ($30 off), which is $5 shy of the bundle’s all-time low. The 1080p video doorbell offers support for motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio. You don’t get some of the more advanced features by default, including smart alerts, but the included Sync Module 2 lets you see a live view and use local storage without a premium subscription.
  • Ring’s Stick Up Cam Battery has returned to its all-time low of $54.99 ($45 off) at Amazon. The battery-powered 1080p security camera is usable both indoors and outside; it also supports two-way audio, night video, and motion alerts, though, if you want to save video, you’ll need a Ring Protect plan (which starts at $4.99 a month).
  • If you’re looking for a more affordable security camera and don’t need to use it outdoors, the second-gen Ring Indoor Cam is a bit cheaper now that it’s available at Amazon for $29.99 ($30 off), its lowest price yet. The wired security camera offers sharp 1080p HD resolution, a built-in siren, and two-way audio. It also comes with color night vision and a physical privacy cover for quickly and conveniently disabling its recording capabilities.
  • The battery-powered Blink Outdoor 4, Amazon’s latest outdoor security camera, is on sale for an all-time low of $39.99 ($60 off) at Amazon. The 1080p camera offers monitoring features such as motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio. It also offers a wider field of view than the prior model and onboard person detection, so long as you opt for the $3 monthly subscription.
  • We think the Blink Wired Floodlight Camera is the best budget model you can buy, and it’s even more affordable now that it’s down to just $59.99 ($30 off) at Amazon. The 1080p security camera has two lights pushing 2,600 lumens, which is bright enough to illuminate an area and help you see both visitors and intruders. It also has motion detection, two-way audio, and the ability to remotely sound a siren. You can unlock even more functionality with a Blink subscription plan, including person detection with smart notifications.

Best Prime Day deals on streaming devices under $100

  • You can buy the Alexa Voice Remote Pro on sale at Amazon for $24.99 ($10 off), which is an all-time low. Unlike the standard voice remote you get with many Fire TVs and streaming devices, the Remote Pro features a handy remote finder feature, which allows you to track it down using an Alexa-based smart speaker, Android, or iOS. It also has two customizable buttons and a dedicated button that makes it easy to view recent content. Read our review.
  • The latest Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $24.99 (50 percent off) at Amazon, which matches its lowest price. The 4K streaming device is small enough to hide behind your TV and offers Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10 Plus. It’s a lot like the higher-end Fire TV Stick 4K Max, only with Wi-Fi 6 support and less storage.
  • Roku’s Streaming Stick 4K is going for $34 ($16 off) at Amazon. It’s not our favorite streaming stick, but it’s an affordable way to add streaming software to an older TV or monitor or to replace your smart TV’s built-in apps. It also supports Dolby Vision and comes with a Roku Voice Remote for hands-free control.

Best gaming deals under $100

  • Logitech’s wireless G305 Lightspeed has dropped to $33.24 (about $16 off) at Amazon. The low-profile gaming mouse uses Logi’s 12K Hero sensor, which offers more optical resolution than most people need. It’s rated to last up to 250 hours on just a single AA battery, and you can reprogram its six total buttons using Logitech’s Hub software.
  • Razer’s Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox Series X / S controllers is on sale at Amazon in some colors starting at just $18.99 ($21 off). You can also charge older Xbox One controllers on the stand, which uses magnets to keep the battery pack perfectly aligned with its charging contacts.
  • The Amazon Luna Wireless Controller is on sale for $39.99 ($40 off) at Amazon. While the controller is designed for Amazon’s cloud gaming service, you can use it as a standard Bluetooth or USB gamepad with PC, mobile devices, and more. It works best with Luna, however, as it offers seamless device switching that lets you pause on one screen and easily resume on another. It also connects directly to Amazon’s cloud servers to reduce latency.

Best e-reader and tablet deals under $100

  • If you have a young child who can’t stop slamming everything in sight, the latest Amazon Fire 7 Kids is the ideal tablet — especially since it’s on sale at Amazon with 16GB of storage starting at a mere $54.99 ($55 off). The basic, 7-inch slate comes with a colorful protective case that should take the brunt of any abuse, but in case it doesn’t, Amazon offers it with a two-year replacement guarantee. You’ll also get a year of Amazon Kids Plus (normally $5.99 a month), which comes with enough ad-free books, games, and streaming apps to keep them perpetually busy.
  • Own an M4-based iPad Pro or M2 iPad Air? You should have a look at the Apple Pencil Pro, which is down to $96 ($33 off) at Amazon right now. It’s the first time we’ve seen the digital stylus fall under $100. It offers the same pressure-sensitive writing as older Apple Pencils but adds Find My support and new gestures that allow you to access certain functions by squeezing or changing the cursor’s orientation with a “Barrel Roll” twist.

Best charger deals under $100

  • A two-pack of Ugreen’s 100W USB-C to USB-C cables has dropped to $7.99 ($8 off) at Amazon after clicking an on-page coupon. If the 3.3-foot cables sound a little too short for you, a two-pack of 10-foot cables is also on sale for $18.39 (about $15 off) at Amazon. You can use them to speedily transfer data and charge smartphones, laptops, tablets, and any other USB-C device you have.
  • Anker’s 10-foot 240W USB-C to USB-C cable is down to $12.99 ($4 off) at Amazon. It’s one of the fastest cables you can buy and should easily enable super-quick charging speeds and data transfer rates for laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The wiring is encapsulated in a braided nylon material, which is ideal for both longevity and flexibility.
  • You can get an Anker MagGo 3-in-1 wireless charging stand for $71.99 ($28 off) at Amazon. It’s been as low as $70 before, but it’s a good opportunity to save a bit on a solid MagSafe-compatible stand that supports Qi2 charging speeds for iPhone 12 series phones and newer. There’s also a sidekick Apple Watch holder and room in the base to charge a pair of AirPods or another pair of wireless earbuds.
  • The ESR Qi2 3-in-1 wireless charging station is down to $53.99 ($19 off) at Amazon, matching its all-time low. It offers 15W MagSafe charging for compatible iPhones and dedicated spots for Apple Watches and earbuds, just like most of its ilk. Its unique trait, however, is that the Apple Watch holder is detachable, so you can take it with you and use it separately with any USB charger.
  • The single-port Anker Nano Charger is down to $12.99 ($10 off) at Amazon in multiple colors — a new low. The USB-C GaN adapter has a foldable prong and supports up to 30W of power, which is just over the requisite threshold required for 15W MagSafe chargers.

It includes a growing library of tracks with high-fidelity codecs and spatial audio.

  • A single Tile Mate is going for $18.29 (about $7 off) at Amazon, which is one of the better prices we’ve seen as of late. The handy Bluetooth tracker allows you to sound an alarm within 250 feet or view its last known location on a map, and it’s compatible with both Android and iPhone. It also offers a generous three years of battery life, but you can’t replace the battery once it’s spent.

  • The AeroPress Clear is selling for $34.95 (around $15 off) at Amazon. We like the trendy coffee maker for its ability to brew a single-serve cup of joe without any power required. That makes it great for camping trips, , and other scenarios where a traditional countertop machine won’t work.

Update, October 9th: Removed expired deals, updated prices, and added several new deals, including those for the Apple Pencil Pro and Amazon’s latest Fire 7 Kids tablet.
