If you want to brighten up your home as the days get darker, Nanoleaf’s ceiling lights will bring a bit of the sun in. Normally $249.99, right now you can buy the three-pack Nanoleaf Skylight Smarter Kit at an all-time low price of $199.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and directly from Nanoleaf.

Nanoleaf designed the full-color LED ceiling lights so they mimic a skylight, and that they do very well. All of the tunable lights radiate 4,200 lumens of brightness, illuminating any home even on the darkest winter day. You can even choose from nature-inspired lighting animations like “shooting stars” and “sun shower,” so it’s as if you’re really peering up right through your ceiling into the sky.

Along with brightening up your house, the lights also are great for setting the mood. Their modular design allows you to get creative and build out different patterns, which the lights even sync to music — perfect for holiday parties. Nanoleaf also offers hundreds of color, lighting, and even some cool AI-generated dynamic effects. For example, all you need to do is type in “tropical paradise,” and Nanoleaf will generate effects designed to mimic the sea, so you can pretend you’re lounging on a sunny beach even when it’s pouring outside.

A few more deals worth a look

  • The latest Blink Video Doorbell, one of our favorite video doorbells, is down to its best price yet $29.99 ($30 off) at Amazon for Prime members, with Best Buy and Target matching that deal. If you’re just looking for a decent video doorbell that nails the essentials, the 1080p doorbell is an excellent choice with support for motion detection, night vision, two-way audio, and two years of battery life. Bear in mind, however, if you want a live view you’ll need to either buy the Sync Module 2 to use local storage or pay extra for a monthly subscription.
  • You can buy GoPro’s Hero 12 Black Bundle, which includes the action camera as well as a head strap, extra rechargeable battery, carrying case, and other accessories, for a new all-time low of $299.99 ($150 off) from Amazon. Admittedly, the Hero 12 Black lacks the new color profiles and burst slo-mode found in the more recent Hero 13 Black, but it’s still an excellent 4K action camera that can capture HDR photos and videos at 5.3K (up to 30fps in 16:9 aspect ratio) and 4K (up to 30fps in 8:7 and 60fps in 16:9 aspect ratio). It also offers other perks not found in older models, including a super wide-angle lens, a vertical video mode, and support for longer runtimes so you can film continuously for longer.
  • Philips Hue’s 65-foot Festavia string lights, which feature 250 color-changing LEDs, are available for $153.99 ($66 off) directly from Philips Hue, which is its second-best price to date. Along with displaying stunningly rich colors, the string lights come with an enchanting set of premade festive effects and scenes, which is one of the reasons they were our favorite holiday string lights last year. They also feature IP54 weatherproofing so you can use them outdoors for up to 90 days, and are compatible with Matter (so they’ll work with all smart home platforms) when you purchase the Hue Bridge — which is also on sale for $42.94 ($17 off).
